Singleness

Sometimes I wonder why
the Lord has not provided me
with a forever someone

I am happy for those who are married
but hope one day
that I will have that same opportunity

I sometimes get frustrated
because the community around me
stresses dating and relationships
but then I remember that I am young
and that I have MANY years ahead of me

The Lord has a beautiful plan for my life
and I am content
to wait on his timing
and his timing alone
