December

Christmas lights

smiles on faces

presents

and kind words shared

"Merry Christmas" is heard through out

houses and stores

as the day fast approaches

But one thing is forgotten

the tiny cries

of a baby

who came to save

the world

born in a manger

surrounded by cattle and sheep

Jesus is the reason for the season

we celebrate his birth

and that

the word became flesh

Happy Birthday Jesus

Thank you for coming as a babe

to save us
