October

The leaves boast their bright colors

of orange, red and yellow

so rich and beautiful

fall decides to make a grand entrance

with wind

and jackets come up from the dusty basements

Jeans and boots appear on bodies

along with cute hats to cover heads

halloween is right around the corner

kids letting their imaginations run wild

the sun pierces

the clouds

to try and bring a sense of warmth

to the chilly air

The changes are a welcome sight

from the hot summer days

Welcome October

Thanks for coming
