Sin

His body hung from a tree
lifeless and without breath
insides fused together with the outsides
the wood rubbed his skin
his feet broken and bruised

He was brought down
and shut in forever
many wept
for days
wondering why their friend
miracle worker
brother
and son
had been taken too soon

three days later
they went to check on him
panic arrose
the body was not shut up

A man came and said
HE'S ALIVE

They ran to tell the others
they couldn't believe their eyes
He was alive
they saw him in own flesh and blood

He conquered death
forever and ever
He bore our sins
ALL of them
past, present and future
of every. single. person. in. the. world.
out of love
he humbled himself
so we could be free

what an AMAZING gift
he gave us.
Thank you Jesus
for dying for my sins
I am forever grateful
